Microsoft Visio Professional 2024 LTSC is the current one-time-purchase desktop edition of Microsoft's diagramming software for Windows. Use it to build flowcharts, network diagrams, org charts, floor plans and engineering schematics from professional templates and shape libraries.

What is the difference between Visio Standard and Professional?

Professional adds the advanced template sets (BPMN, UML, network, engineering, floor plans), data linking and diagram validation. Standard is limited to basic business diagrams.

Can I install Visio 2024 alongside an older Office version?

It works most reliably alongside Office 2024. Mixing Office generations, or 32-bit with 64-bit, on one PC is the most common cause of installation errors.

Can people without Visio open my diagrams?

Yes. You can export to PDF, PNG or SVG, and .vsdx files open in the free Visio web viewer.
