Ordering and delivery

How will I receive my order?

By email. Your product key and installation instructions are sent to the email address used at checkout. There is no physical shipment. See Delivery and Activation for the full process.

I have not received my email. What should I do?

Check your spam and promotions folders first. If it is not there, contact us with your order number and we will resend it.

Licences and compatibility

Are these subscriptions?

No. The Office, Windows, Project, Visio and Windows Server products in our store are one-time purchases with no recurring fees. They do not include Microsoft 365 cloud extras such as OneDrive storage.

Can I use a Windows version of Office on a Mac?

No. Windows and Mac editions use different keys and installers. Choose from the Office for Mac collection if you are installing on macOS.

Which Office version should I choose?

Office 2024 has the longest remaining Microsoft support, until October 2029. Office 2021 support ends in October 2026 and Office 2019 support has already ended. Older versions still work, but they no longer receive security updates. Each product page states the current support status.

Will my key work if I have a different edition installed?

No. A key only activates the edition it was issued for. Check your installed edition before ordering, under Settings, System, About on Windows.

Support

My key shows as invalid. What now?

Stop retrying, take a screenshot of the error and contact support with your order number. In most cases the cause is an edition mismatch or an older install that needs removing first.
